The Learning Disabilities Association of Arkansas is a nonprofit, volunteer organization for parents and professionals devoted to defining and pursuing solutions to the broad spectrum of learning disorders. LDAA is a state affiliate of the Learning Disabilities Association of America and was chartered in 1963.
LDAA provides support to people with learning disabilities, their parents, teachers and other professionals with cutting edge information on learning disabilities, practical solutions, and a comprehensive network of resources. These services make LDAA the leading resource for information on learning disabilities.
LDAA hosts free monthly seminars that are open to anyone who cares for individuals who have learning disabilities. In addition, LDAA provides area schools, churches, and other organizations with our educational learning disability simulation workshops, where we engage participants in activities designed to replicate experiences from the perspectives of individuals who have learning disabilities.
