Little Rock Junior Departmental Club will hold its annual Benefit Luncheon at Pleasant Valley Country Club on Thursday, November 1st at 11:00AM.
All proceeds from a silent auction is dedicated to LDAA, the organization’s primary philanthropic project.
Michael Eubanks, saxophonist and vocalist, will entertain with “The Journey of Jazz”.
Club president Cheryl Owens commented, “We hope the 2018 benefit will top last year’s record amount contributed to LDAA’s important work toward academic achievement for youth with learning challenges.”
Barbara Vogel and Kathy Fakouri are co-chairs of the event.
Little Rock Junior Departmental Club consists of about 50 women devoted to learning and giving. Monthly luncheon programs concern a departmental subject related to: Education, American Home, Conservation, Community Affairs, Fine Arts or International Affairs. A local charity is designated for each meeting, to which members make individual donations.
The major philanthropic project is an annual luncheon where all proceeds from a silent auction are contributed to Learning Disabilities Association of Arkansas (LDAA).
Tickets are $35 per person or $350 for a table of 10.
